Real Wedding - Mel and Tim

Mel and Tim sealed their love with an enchanted woodland style wedding set among the tropical hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. While the wedding itself was filled with the happiness of many family and friends, Tim’s proposal made for an intimate moment which entailed a few precious details that reflected their individual love. “We traveled to New York in December, 2012. On Christmas Eve, Tim sent me to the day spa at The Ritz for five hours! Little did I know this was his opportunity to pick up the ring he had been planning for months prior. Tim did draw on his quirkiness when choosing his ring. It was custom made from Damascus steel - the type of metal used to make samurai swords – inspired by his love of all things ninja and anime. We took a horse and carriage ride through Central Park where we stopped by the lake for some obligatory tourist photos. Our carriage driver captured the moment Tim got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was surreal and unforgettable.”
